What empowers me to be a women?
Seeing how alot of young girls today are insecure and always keep their head down. Seeing how girls are jeolous of others and just can’t love their self for what God gave them, empowers me to be a women! I want to show girls my age and all over the world you dont have to look like the super models or celebs on tv. Plus you dont have to have money to look beautiful and fierce without showing your assets! Thats why i love this clothing line Dangerously Beautiful because thats what its all about! I can stand here on this earth and love my body mind and soul for what it is! Exspecially wearing these shirts=)All these things empower me each and every day!

  2. What empowers you to “rise” as a woman in today’s society?

Well today is very competitive for anything you do I believe. Its hard for women to rise in any part of society because were looked down on. What empowers me to rise an a female blogger in todays blogger soceity world (if thats what we can call it lol) is that girls know about shit too. All the top blog sites are mostly ran by males besides females i look up to like miss info or herfection. My dream is to be something like them, have exclusive tracks, interviews, updates, straight from me! you hear it first from me! its also the fact that women have to be strong these days, not only by how the male gender portrays us but that we do have intelligence as well. Im a college student with a major of graphic design as well, I want to design mixtapes/albums/flyers for big artists! Im really big on music of you cant tell. I want to be a known female for my design & passion for hiphop. thats why the shirt “respect my mind, respect my grind” catches my eye the most. I couldnt care less if people dont support me or believe in me & my dream, yea it helps, but the only person that matters is me. To RISE as a woman in todays society is a very big achievement to me, & i will get there.

What empowers me to rise as a woman is the fact that I want to be able to be a role model to the young ladies who are growing up in the world now. This generation’s young ladies are in need of mentors who are strong and capable of directing them in the right path. So what empowers me is my love for others.

What Empowers you to “rise” as a woman in todays society?

When the question was asked, “What Empowers you to rise as a woman in todays society?”, I thought to myself, theres so many depending factors i dont know where to begin. Just simply being a woman in todays society drives me and pushes me to work beyond the norm. Why? Because women have always been perceived to be inferior to men. Now that we are in new times and centuries, the way women are looked at has changed, but not completly. What drives me the most is that i want to be that Doctor or that CEO, or even that Lawyer that inspires the next woman or girl to make something of themselves. You see, If the younger generation of females had other women to look up to, they would no longer feel helpless or feel that to reach the point of success is “impossible”. So overall what empowers me the most is my personal passion for being successful and to not have to depend on any person to support because i will be capable of carrying my own weight. And Lastly, my hope of bringing women together to prove that we as women are capable of being more than what is expected and that we dont have to be “Americas Next Top Model” to be successful is what i want every girl around the world to understand. No matter what shape, size, or skin color we are, we can be the future, and we as women can show the world that we can be anything reardless of circumstance and discrimination as long as we work for it. Like the shirt says “Respect my mind, respect my grind”. Its time for the women to shine.

A question so simple, yet so many females lack a well thought out answer. I could answer this question from a naive, almost ignorant perspective. Talk about how much we as women have been looked down upon and how we are inferior to men. Talk about, how we live in a world with a glass ceiling. About how, due to our genetic makeup, it is our destiny and no matter how much we try, we will always be less than men. Which of course, seemingly would be the expected answer. Anything with a feminist connotation would best fit. In my opinion, to live life in that sense is to put a cap on our abilities. To rise in today’s society is more than just being able to do so as a woman. To rise is more than just fighting for the rights of females. The mere idea that this question had to be asked is why I must rise. There should be no female or male. To advance in this world discrimination of race, gender, social class etc. cannot and should not be an issue. My destiny, my calling, my vision supersedes gender. There is a whole world out there lacking inspiration and direction while people are fighting over which is the dominant sex. The constant discouragement which impairs the dreams of children is what empowers me to rise. It is not about proving others wrong. It is not about showing men that women can compete and be better. It is about unity. It is about advancing in this world as human beings. Seeing the lack in manners and the rise in rude antics is what empowers me to rise. The negativity empowers me. The lack of understanding and patience for the world, for others is what empowers me. The fact that the majority of the responses will be selfish answers about how they need to rise as “individuals” is what empowers me. We as woman are made to nurture, to give, to inspire, to love. As a woman, we should not offer a selfish answer. My goal is to motivate and open people’s eyes to thinking in a more broad perspective. To show them than that this world is more than us. The picture is bigger than what we see. The fact that such ideals are not already apparent is what empowers me to rise. Once we are able to look past gender, past the trivial and concentrate on what really matters, only then will be able to rise in today’s society as a person, let alone as a woman.

What empowers you to “rise” as a woman in today’s society?

As far as I am concerned, in order to rise as a woman in today’s society, you must look past the fact that you are a woman. It’s not about competing with men or other women for that matter, it’s about competing with yourself. Its about looking in the mirror and asking yourself, what can I do to become the best PERSON that I can be? Many women before us have broken the odds and made life a lot easier on us. Now its up to the individual to push the limits and break even more boundaries. As a female rapper I experience much criticism because of my gender. Males expect a female to rap a certain way, about the types of things they want to hear (Fucking n Sucking and all the other bullshit… sorry I’m just being real). But I refuse to succumb to that stereotype. I continue to make music that a female can listen to and not feel that she needs to degrade her self to be “cool, sexy, or wanted” The strength of the women who came before us and who had mush less to work with is what empowers me. The fact that My mother was taken advantage of by a man empowers me. Seeing little girls pregnant and gang banging because they feel the need to be accepted in some way by a male, leading to the detriment of their life empowers me. Women have so much power, and use it in the wrong way; and trying to find a solution to that (me, particularly with my music) empowers me. Women need to look in the mirror and realize that they are much more than the stereotype and way greater than it. They need to strive for the excellence that they are capable of, and that many other women have already achieved. It is possible. Remembering these things empowers me to make everyday count and to become the best woman that I can be, not only for myself but for the children that I will bring into the world later in life and for our society as a whole.

What empowers you to “rise” as a woman in today’s society?

In today’s society our roles have changed as women. We have many more opportunities and we face more challenges. We have the freedom of choice whether it is going to school, work, or being a stay home mom. I believe that it all comes down to having self confidence and self motivation. You are the only one that can push yourself to do what you want to do and be what you want to be. As I woman I allow the level of respect I get from society. I determine what my goals are and the steps to achieving them. I am in control so respect my mind, respect my grind.
