It’s week nine — and we are back for another Editors Pick: Track Of The Week. Picking these tracks isn’t as easy as it seems, music is pouring in from all angles, both good and bad, but my job is to deliver the best in hopes that you’d agree. From day one, back in 2000, this duo caught my attention. They brought back the essence of what an Mc/Dj relationship was once like, dope lyrics over a tight beat. Hip Hop. They even share a special place in not only my heart, but as my offical ringtone (that’s been the same ‘ole ringtone for years lmao). Wondering what that ringtone could possibly be? holding its place for over a year? “The Blast“, off of their first album ‘Train Of Thought’. Reflection Eternal, better known as Talib Kweli and Hi-Tek, is back to bring us “Revolutions Per Min” which is said to drop May 18, 2010. This weeks Editors Pick: Track of The Week 9 belongs to Strangers (Paranoid) Reflection Eternal ft. Bun B . This track is in heavy rotation (at this very moment). What I love most about Reflection Eternal are the messages behind each song they produce. If you do not like lyrical hip hop, this is not for you, it may cause you to think hard and become more aware of situations that some tend to keep secret. Group Think? possibly lol.
