RIP Christopher “The Notorious B.I.G.” Wallace

Today marks the 14th year of Christopher “The Notorious B.I.G.” Wallace’s death. To some of us its still fresh in the mind, one of the greatest to do it, gone but never forgotten. This day we will celebrate his life through tribute by quoting our favorite lines, blasting it in our headphones and/or sounds systems, through events in our home towns, and reminiscing on how we felt the first time we heard BIG. Since we’re on the West Coast, we noticed the RIP’s pouring in at 9 p.m. last night our time from the East Coast. This morning it has been nothing but positive vibes and love from both coasts. BIG has always had a way of bringing people together, regardless of geographical, cultural, and social differences. We all have love for BIG and hope you do too. With all this being said, it wouldn’t be right to leave you empty eared. Check out a few of our favorite videos by no one other than Notorious B.I.G.

The Topshelf Company is at work, 3 visuals in 3 weeks? First Africa, then the Key Club, now this? I’d say they’ve kept a consistent speed with the visuals. We do appreciate it. Dom has also been at work, with From The Westside With Love II coming our way, we figured we’d see the progression at its best. In the video above,  Dom, Chuck Inglish of The Cool Kids, and The Alchemist get in the studio for a session well worth capturing. This is where you should get that feeling of  knowing that something good is on its way. If you didn’t know, Dom will be releasing The Original Dom Kennedy, which is what Best After Bobby is to From The Westside With Love. If you’re a fan, then you’d understand where I’m going with this. We’re looking forward to it all, keep bringing the heat.

Dipset Reunion @ 4th&B April 16th

I got word of this event last week while attending Goapele @ Anthology from my dude Dred. “Yup it’s definitely going down” he said. So heres the flyer.
