Here it is!! A07 Entertainment & Media and Brain Food proudly bring you a never before attempted and unthinkable series of events. San Diego is a beautiful and diverse place that is thriving daily. Although heavily envied by the masses for our near perfect weather, and often duplicated classy yet carefree lifestyle, San Diego continually finds itself overlooked, overshadowed and a lot of time not even factored into the national equation. We often find foundations seeking greener pastures and move north to our current LA and OC big brothers. ASR – Gone! Agenda – Gone! Hell, even the NFL vowed to never bring the Super Bowl back to SD ’til we got a new stadium. But a change is taking place.

San Diego’s culture is starting to thrive. Urban influence is everywhere from the food, to the clothes, to the architecture. Our sneaker community, in particular, is in a crucial time right now. We have an opportunity to show the world our identity and showcase what we have to offer. We can simply say, “hey pay attention to us! We have a voice, a community that supports and will be taken seriously!”. Footlocker see’s the gold mine we possess. Our wishes were granted when we received not one, but two House of Hoops locations last year. We further experienced the progression of our sneaker community with the inception of both sneaker consignment spots Kolorblind in Mission Hills, and Rosewood San Diego in Downtown’s East Village. With these developments taking place along the already established Blends SD and The Attic SD, it’s safe to say we are literally in the mist of a sneaker community boom!

It was only right that we put this event together now. Sneaker Swap is not just another shoe tradeshow. It’s a representation of history in the making for our city, a chance for us to compete and make our market grow. It’s an opportunity to make others yearn for involvement while you feel proud of what your city is trying to accomplish. Sneaker Swap is for you. Let’s simply show the nation and world that San Diego cats got heat too. We have the same exclusives others have and that we too can own hundreds of pairs of shoes b/c this is what we do! This is our lifestyle just as much as it is yours.

So now to the event – We reached out to tons to ppl. All San Diego based. Along with growing our sneaker community, we want our brands and businesses to thrive just as much so with that said, we are honored to work with Kolorblind, Rosewood San Diego, Kas23.com, hdqtrs, 5&A Dime, 9five Eyewear, and The Fresh Yard and more. All these brands will be attendance with a booth to display their products. We will also be hosting a multiple giveaways; The first is for all attendees; they will be automatically entered upon entrance and will have the chance to win various gift-cards courtesy of the brands in attendance. The second giveaway will feature the raffling off of pairs of Air Jordans and Nike Foamposites. Raffle tickets will be available on site(limited to 3 per) so make sure you look out for that and if your wondering, no there will be no fakes and no fusions! There will be well over 30 vendor booths in the building selling sneakers and everything related to them.This is your chance to come through and buy, sell, or trade some of the best heat in your collection. Maybe you’ve been looking for a grail chances are, it’s gonna be at Sneaker Swap. Make sure you wear some heat as well as we will point ppl out and give made props and love via social networks.
