Bouncing Cats is the inspiring documentary of one man’s attempt to use the power of hip-hop for positive social change in Uganda.

Narrated by Common and featuring interviews with Will.I.Am and K’Naan, the story follows Crazy Legs of the Rock Steady Crew and b-boy Abramz from Breakdance Project Uganda on a journey to unify, empower and inspire youth of a war torn region.

It was recently honored with the coveted award for Best Documentary Feature from the Urbanworld Film Festival, the leading showcase for urban, ethnic, and multi-cultural cinema.

Special performances by the Body Rock Crew and Live music from the DVC.

Thor (Behind The Scenes)

I know there are millions of people that were left in awe in the end of Iron Man 2. Now Marvel are fully committed to getting Thor under way. Chris Hemsworth will play as the God of Thunder while Anthony Hopkins famous for his role as Hannibal Lecter in Silence of the Lambs will play as Odin. Lets not forget the actress/rapper (if you consider her to be a rapper) Natalie Portman is in the movie as well. Thor is set to release May 6, 2011.

I love independent films because they have a lot of originality and most of them are based off true events. This movie is about Hasidic Jews smuggling 1 million ecstasy pills back in 1998. The movie also has an impressive cast to say the least with Jesse Eisenberg and Q-Tip. Since its and indie film the movie will be shown in select theatres. If you live in the San Diego area it was be shown in the Landmark Theatres tomorrow!

Mortal Kombat (Promo Trailer)

This trailer left me with a few questions such as, is this movie going to really happen? Is this a video game intro? or Was this shot just for the hell of it? I’ve grown up to playing Mortal Kombat as a kid so I know how the story line goes. Despite the fact that the story line in this trailer compared to game is different, but it made some very interesting scenarios.
