DJ ETC… formerly known as Blazze Blah ETC…,has been establishing himself as one of the top Hip Hop DJ’s in Southern California for quite some time now. Born In San Diego, California, by way of Chicago, DJ ETC… has been putting it down on the one’s and two’s for over a decade. From rocking parties and clubs to orchestrating mixtapes, DJ ETC… has done it all. DJ ETC began spinning and collecting records in the early 80’s at a very young age. Influenced by watching a DJ spin at a local party, DJ ETC… immediately became mesmerized by how the DJ was mixing and scratching the records. “I still remember to this date, the effect it had on the crowd was amazing as I stood there and studied it.”Although, growing up on the West Coast, DJ ETC’s musical taste spreads across the globe. After attending college in Virginia he decided to move to Chicago to pursue a musical career full time. During his five years in Chicago DJ ETC… quickly established himself in the Hip Hop scene, becoming a well known DJ throughout the city. During this period he became the DJ for a group which got signed to Relativity Records, unfortunately the group broke up before the album was finished.
After returning to San Diego DJ ETC… was more motivated and dedicated to DJing than ever before. During the next six years DJ ETC… was keeping himself very busy; throwing parties and shows, DJing at numerous clubs, making special appearances at various performances and events, standing in as a DJ for several artists, and definitely banging out the dopest mixtapes. Not to mention he was co-owner of a marketing & promotion company and record pool in San Diego beginning in 2000 called Masked Media. With hard work and the support of many DJs, DJ ETC… remains one of San Diego’s most requested DJ’s.
