So just last week it was announced the G-Shock x Maison Martin Margiela colab was underway this week we now have further look with this video that the G-shock will feature a metallic silver case and bracelet, a transparent liquid crystal skeleton display and an engraving of Margiela’s trademark numbers and will come with a removable mirrored silver leather wristband. The official release date is March 30 2013 only 3000 are being released so hit up your local G-Shock Retailers and find out if there getting them good luck
Stussy, Bathing Ape and Casio G-Shock joined force’s to release a collection of collaborative goods. The colab comes as a bit of a surprise seeing how all three brands are on top of there markets. The three brands took to Casio G-Shock’s feature-heavy Frogman watch, outfitting the piece in an adventurous red and black colorway. Stussy and A Bathing Ape branding subtly underscore the background of the main dial as well as the header, maintaining the integrity of the silhouette. Also included in the collection is a collaborative T-shirt, offered in both black and white. Look for the Frogman collection to release on April 27 I for one will be hopping on this colab considering 85% of closet is Stussy.
A few months ago we told that G-Shock is instituting new technology into their watches including bluetooth capabilities and iPhone sync mods. For January 2013, the Initial Blue Watch Pack is one of the first to feature their new abilities in the classic designs of the DW-5600 and DW-6900 watches.
G-Shock is teaming up with Japanese brand Medicom Toy to release a new collab for Spring 2013. The tricked out DW-6900 was recently unveiled at an exclusive preview event in Berlin last week, hosted for the launch of the Medicom Toy brand’s pop-up store series that is starting in Europe. Peep the 3 new upcoming watches from G-Shock. They feature a reptilian pattern along the bands and face and no pun intended but, they’re cold-blooded. Look for the to release this Fall.
Japanese brand Atmos just produced this new limited edition DW-6900. Features bright red with blue accents while the logo is featured on the face above the LCD instead of the usual “Casio” text. The retail price is about $234 USD and it will only be available through the Atmos store. The release date is set for August, and you can place pre-orders in July.
